Friends, Romans, Countrymen
Here’s the first blog dealing with card magic I ever read. Damn fine blog, and updated pretty frequently. Check it out, and tell them some asshole sent you.
Hey, thank you for commenting on my blog. I like your blog too.
Three cheers for calling out people on bullshit. Also on a slightly related side note, I paid retail price for Wesley James’s book. Upon reading it, I now like to pretend that he had a massive stroke prior to writing it which, in some way, makes me feel better about paying the amount of money that I did for it.
Maybe people who bought the Erdnase DVD set can pretend this also and feel better about their shitty purchase. Of course, for all I know he did have a massive stroke which would explain his shitty card handling and make me feel like a bigger asshole all at the same time.
Oh yeah, read the Phantom Notebooks blog. It’s good.
Like a more cynical less old and less gay version of James Randi (not that there’s anything wrong with that).
You want informed opinions on card magic? You got it!
You want references to the Badassery of Hunter S. Thomspon? You got it!
You want directions to the nearest faith-healing seminar? Piss off, Wanker!
Dude writes about card tricks and likes Vladimir Nabokov. ’Nuff said.
A friend of mine from the vast and uncharted wilderness of Texas, student of some big name magicians. Motherfucker knows his card tricks.
Also, he showed me this video. And you will watch it now.
